明治22年に創業した【株式会社玉井商店】は、足袋・靴下を製造販売しております。
日本の伝統文化である足袋を職人の手で一つひとつ丁寧に作り上げ、一筋に歴史を築いて参りました。

現在は職人の高齢化、日本の和装離れが進み、100年前と比べると売上は9割ほど減少。生産もどんどん難しくなってきています。

私が今思うこと。
それは伝統からの挑戦が不可欠ということです。

足元から伝統を感じ、現代を歩む。
足袋を原点として、足袋型の靴下や靴などを提案し、若い世代への架け橋となります。

それは流行っているからではありません。私たちの誇りがそこにあるからです。
